The Red Leaf Takoja Singers
are a group of popular Indian singers based in Denver, Colorado.
The members live in Denver, on reservations in South Dakota,
and in the Taos Puebleo, New Mexico. A part-time member
lives in Oklahoma.
The singing tradition of Red Leaf
spans at least four generations. Its distinctive musical
style comes from the Red Leaf and Black Pipe Communities
of the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota.
