| Found
in the blackness between the lights we can see when we look out
at the Universe, the so-called dark matter. Energy storehouse
of the universe. Gravity so strong not even light escapes. Verrry
heavy stuff. Identified by its color but recognized only by the
effects it produces. Whole galaxies revolve themselves around
the core of black matter at their centers. As stars age over eons,
their energy wanes until the nuclear reactions that produce light
become weaker than the gravity drawing them inward toward their
dark cores and they implode inward. Intense gravitational compression
becomes intense expansion. The fire of life is reborn in a supernova.
Light and energy expand outward from the center and new life permeates
the Universe.
